The Dashboard and Reports sections in MotionOps give users a quick way to monitor business performance, track important metrics, and review company data in real time. From sales activity and lead tracking to financial reporting and team performance, these tools help keep everything organized and easy to access from one place.

Accessing the Dashboard

To open the Dashboard:

  1. Look at the top middle toolbar in MotionOps

  2. Click the Dashboard button located toward the top left section of the toolbar

Once opened, the Dashboard provides an overview of important business metrics and activity.

What You Can View on the Dashboard

The Dashboard displays different performance metrics and business insights, including:

  • Lead sources

  • Proposal activity

  • Pending proposals

  • Accepted proposals

  • Sales numbers

  • Appointment activity

  • Revenue tracking

  • Other business performance data

The Dashboard is designed to give users a quick snapshot of what is currently happening across the business without needing to open individual accounts or reports.

Accessing Reports

On the same top middle toolbar, to the right of the Dashboard section, users can select Reports.

The Reports section allows users to generate more detailed reporting and analytics for different areas of the business.

Available Report Types

Users can run a variety of reports, including:

  • Financial reports

  • Sales performance reports

  • Team member performance reports

  • Revenue reporting

  • Lead and proposal reporting

  • Appointment and work order reports

  • Additional operational reports

These reports help provide more detailed breakdowns and performance tracking beyond the standard Dashboard overview.

Filtering Reports

When running reports, users can filter data based on the time period they want to review.

Common filter options include:

  • Daily

  • Weekly

  • Monthly

  • Yearly

  • Custom date ranges

This allows users to review recent activity, monitor long-term performance, and compare business data over different periods of time.

Using Dashboard & Reports Together

The Dashboard is best used for quick visibility into current business activity, while Reports are designed for deeper analysis and tracking. Together, they help users monitor company performance, track trends, and make informed business decisions directly within MotionOps.
