How to create a customer or lead

Overview

The Accounts section is where you keep track of all of your leads and customers, both residential and commercial. You can search for any accounts here by name, phone number, address, or even emails. There are also different filters and tags you can search by, which will help finding a specific customer extremely easy.


Creating a New Account

To create a New Account, follow the steps below.

  • Click on the Accounts tab on the top of the screen. (2nd on the left of the center bar)

  • Click on the white “+ New Account” that is on the top right of the screen.

  • Go through the list filling out the info as needed.

    • On the top left, select if it’s an individual or business account.

    • Enter in the account name (customer name or the name of the business)

    • Start filling out the customer info. (You only need a phone number or email to create an account)

    • You can select the green “Add Another Contact” if you want to add other people to the account also.

    • Scroll down, and fill out the service location information.

    • Press “Save and Preview” or “Save and Create Proposal”

The new account is now in your account database and you can pull them up anytime you need to now!


Account Filters

There are many different ways you can search for your Accounts.

The first is, clicking on the "Search Accounts" bar on the top middle. You can search by name, address, phone number, email, etc here for the account you want.

You can also click "Expand" underneath the white "+ New Accounts" on the top right, and select different ways to filter out the account you are looking for.
