Overview
The Pricebook feature in MotionOps significantly enhances your proposal creation process by allowing you to pre-set line items. This tool helps streamline your proposal generation, making it faster and more efficient.
By creating a customized pricebook, you can quickly insert pre-defined line items into proposals, ensuring consistency and accuracy while saving valuable time.
Creating pre-set line items
Access Pricebook:
Click on the circle in the top right corner of the screen to access Business Settings.
From the list on the left, select Pricebook, which is about halfway down.
Create a New Item:
On the top left, choose the type of proposal you want to create line items.
Click the green "New Item" button on the top right.
Enter Item Details:
Fill in the Item Title and an optional Item Description.
Enter the Unit Cost, which is the cost to you for the line item.
Enter the Customer Charge, which is how much you want to charge the customer.
The Markup and Margin fields will automatically populate, showing you real-time data on your profit margins.

Creating a comprehensive Pricebook will streamline your proposal process, allowing you to generate and send proposals more quickly while maintaining consistent pricing and accuracy.
